Coffee that Gives Back!

A portion of every sale helps a student raise money for their camp trip and/or provide scholarship money for other students in need.  It also helps a student in Nicaragua attend a Young Life camp and pays a dignified wage to the coffee workers in Nicaragua!

Are you fundraising for camp?  Read below.

It is pretty simple. You direct friends, families, neighbors, etc. to buy coffee from 41&change with this link (http://www.41change.com/young-life/libertyville-vernon-hills) and you get a portion of each sale. This will be sent to the Young Life office to go towards your summer or Polar Bear camp cost. All you need to do is make sure they fill out your name in the designation field.

You can also include the instructions (below) with your email to eliminate any confusion.

Selling Breakdown Examples

Sell coffee one time. If you end up selling 100 bags:

  • 100 bags X $4 give-back= $400

Get people to sign up for a monthly subscription. If you recruit 25 people to purchase 2 bags/mo:

  • 25 people X 2 bags/mo X $4 give-back = $200/mo
  • $200/mo X 12 months = $2,400/yr
  • $2,400 x 5 years = $12,000

If your customers were to sign up for a monthly subscription this money would go towards your current and future camp trips. Once you have graduated from Young Life, Capernaum, or Wyldlife this reoccuring money would be used to scholarship other campers.
